Who we are

NEI — Native English Institute — has more than ten years of experience empowering adults for global communication. All our teachers are North American native speakers who are certified in Teaching English as a Second Language. They live all over the world, which is why we run classes 24/7.

NEI’s personalized learning method equips you with the English you need in meetings, in interviews, with colleagues… for your global life!

More about NEI

Who it's for

Adults 20 and over, at intermediate level or above — roughly CEFR B1. After registering, you will complete an NEI Speaking Assessment, to determine the specific grammar and pronunciation skills where you need to focus. Our classes are never more than 15 people. Within the class, you will work in pairs and small groups matched to your level.

If your English is below CEFR B1, please email support@NE.Institute to join the waiting list for a Basic Course.

What it costs

Four-week program, 40 hours of live class (online)US$600
Your receipt from the closed school−US$300
You pay, before week two beginsUS$300

You will have had a full week of class — 10 hours — before you pay anything. If you decide to stop there, you stop there, and you owe nothing.

What counts as proof: an invoice, payment confirmation, bank or card statement line, or an agency receipt showing tuition you paid to the school.

Don't have a receipt? Register anyway, and email support@ne.institute explaining your situation so we can sort it out with you.

After the four weeks

Nothing is charged unless you choose it. If you want to keep going, you can try the NEI Hybrid Pro course. It is entirely optional.

What this is not

NEI is not a Designated Learning Institution in Canada, so this program cannot support a study permit and is not part of any Canadian visa process.

We do not give immigration advice, and we are not connected to your previous school. This program does not replace any placement your school's association may arrange for you — please read the notice at the foot of this page.

If your school in Canada closed, read this

Languages Canada may place you at another accredited school to finish the course you already paid for, at no extra tuition cost.

You must file a claim within 30 business days of the closure date.

Contact student@languagescanada.ca, and keep your proof of registration and payment. Accommodation and homestay costs are not covered by that scheme.

Using your receipt at NEI does not affect that claim. Take NEI classes while you wait for a placement, or instead of one if you have already gone home.
